A major transformation is on the way for Jordan-Hare Stadium. Auburn announced Friday that the university’s Board of Trustees has officially approved the Jordan-Hare North project.
According to Auburn, this initiative is the largest and most impactful capital investment ever made in Auburn Athletics and in the history of Jordan-Hare Stadium. The plan emphasizes a multi-purpose layout designed not only to elevate the student and gameday experience, but also to turn the venue into a year-round destination.
The project will introduce over 3,000 new premium seating options and club areas. It will also enhance campus dining with the creation of Shug’s Food Hall, alongside new conference and event facilities, retail spaces, student activity areas, and meeting rooms. Shug’s Food Hall will incorporate the stadium’s former north end zone scoreboard frozen at the exact time and score of the iconic Kick Six play.
The upgrades will feature even more nods to one of Auburn football’s greatest moments, including the Kick Six Field Suites and Kick Six Field Club just a few of the many enhanced seating experiences planned.
Construction is scheduled to begin this summer as Alex Golesh enters his first season at Auburn, with the full project expected to be completed in 2029.

“This is an incredible day for the Auburn Family,” Golesh said in the announcement. He thanked the Board of Trustees, President Roberts, and John Cohen for their visionary leadership. “The Jordan-Hare North Project will create a world-class space that benefits the entire Auburn community all year long. Jordan-Hare already offers the best gameday atmosphere in the country, and this project will elevate it even further. It’s a great time to be an Auburn Tiger. War Eagle!”
