Hansen joins the Redhawks after a remarkable 2025-26 campaign at Saint Martin’s University, where he established himself as a top talent in NCAA Division II. As a redshirt sophomore, he posted averages of 18.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, shooting 43.2% from the field, 35.8% from three-point range, and 85.6% from the free-throw line. He drained 77 three-pointers on the season and recorded 20 or more points in 15 games.

On Jan. 15, Hansen poured in a career-high 37 points against Western Washington. His standout season earned him several postseason awards, including NABC Division II All-District First Team and D2CCA All-West Region First Team honors. He was also named GNAC Player of the Year only the second player in Saint Martin’s history to receive that distinction while securing a spot on the First Team All-GNAC.

Hansen’s individual success powered Saint Martin’s to a historic season. The Saints finished 26-6 overall, tying the program’s single-season record for Division II wins. The team captured both the GNAC regular-season and tournament titles and advanced to the second round of the NCAA West Regionals.

Hansen began his college career in 2023-24, appearing in 17 games with six starts and averaging 7.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per contest.

A native of Auburn, Washington, Hansen played at Auburn High School, where he was a teammate of recent Redhawk alum Maleek Arington and helped lead the team to the 3A state championship in the 2021-22 season. His high school accolades include NPSL MVP as a junior and First Team All-NPSL as a senior.
