On Friday night, the Orlando Magic will host the Detroit Pistons for Game 6 of their first-round playoff series. Orlando currently leads the series 3-2 after falling to Detroit on the road in Wednesday’s Game 5.
In that loss, Paolo Banchero put up 45 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists for the Magic, while Anthony Black contributed 19 points, five rebounds, and three assists off the bench. Now Orlando aims to bounce back at home in Game 6, seeking a win that would clinch the series and send them to the Eastern Conference semifinals. Detroit, conversely, trails 2-3 after protecting home court with a win on Wednesday.
Cade Cunningham powered the Pistons in that victory, finishing with 45 points, four rebounds, and five assists. Tobias Harris added 23 points and eight rebounds. As both teams vie for a win Friday night, each could be missing several key players due to injuries.
Pistons Injury Report: Will Tobias Harris, Kevin Huerter Play?
Detroit lists both Harris (left ankle sprain, suffered in Wednesday’s win) and Kevin Huerter (left adductor strain) as questionable. Harris risks missing his first playoff game; if out, Javonte Green and Ron Holland II could see increased minutes. Huerter is in danger of missing a second straight game, which would open up larger roles for Daniss Jenkins and Caris LeVert.
Magic Injury Report: Will Franz Wagner, Jonathan Isaac Play?
Orlando has ruled out Franz Wagner (right calf strain) for his second consecutive game. In his absence, Jamal Cain, Black, and Tristan da Silva are likely to take on bigger roles. Jonathan Isaac is listed as doubtful due to a left knee sprain that has kept him out since the playoffs began, and he is expected to miss Friday’s contest.
