In the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers chose Jager Burton, a center from Kentucky, as the 153rd overall pick.
Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 312 pounds, Burton is an interior offensive lineman and a Lexington, Kentucky native who attended Frederick Douglass High School. With 47 career starts for the Wildcats, he brings significant game experience and versatility to Green Bay. He also turned heads at the NFL Combine, recording a 4.94-second 40-yard dash, a 1.76-second 10-yard split, and a 4.52-second shuttle time.
Originally a four-star recruit in 2021, Burton was named Kentucky’s Gatorade Football Player of the Year as a high school senior at Frederick Douglass, where he also received the Paul Hornung Award as the state’s top player.
