A new prospect has emerged on Kentucky basketball’s transfer radar.

Sebastian Rancik, a 6-foot-11 forward who has spent the past two seasons at Colorado, is set to visit Kentucky. The Slovakia native had originally planned a trip to Indiana but has canceled it in favor of heading to Lexington, according to On3’s Jamie Shaw.

Rancik made significant strides during his sophomore campaign, increasing his scoring from just under six points per game as a freshman to more than 12 points per game. He also contributed 5.6 rebounds and two assists per contest this past season.

His shooting efficiency improved as well, as he hit 40% from the field and 33% from three-point range—up from 25.8% the previous year while more than doubling his attempts from beyond the arc, going from 1.9 to 4.1 per game.

At the free-throw line, Rancik stood out as one of the top big men in the country, converting 86% of his attempts, the fourth-best mark in the Big 12.

Among his standout performances were a 17-point, 11-rebound effort against Arizona State, where he knocked down three of five shots from deep, and a 20-point outing versus UCF.

After his visit to Kentucky, Rancik is also expected to check out BYU, making his recruitment one to monitor closely.
