On Wednesday, Ohio linebacker Antwoine Higgins became the 11th player to commit to Kentucky’s 2027 recruiting class. The Wildcats’ recruiting push under head coach Will Stein gained further traction with the addition of the three-star prospect, as reported by 247Sports. Higgins, a 6-foot-2.5, 223-pound standout from Cincinnati, chose Kentucky over offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, and others. He is ranked the No. 37 linebacker nationally and the No. 17 player in Ohio, according to 247Sports.

Higgins plays at Cincinnati Anderson High School, which has reached back-to-back Division II state title games. His blend of size, athleticism, and on-field production made him a heavily recruited defender. This pledge puts Kentucky’s 2027 class inside the national Top 10, with Higgins becoming the third Ohioan in the group.
