Although the NCAA transfer portal officially closed for men’s basketball players on Tuesday, the offseason excitement is far from over. Kentucky has already added several guards to strengthen its backcourt, but there’s still significant need for frontcourt depth.

On Friday, UK head coach Mark Pope turned to international prospects to address that need. According to UK Sports Network’s X account, Senegalese forward Ousmane N’Diaye has officially signed with the Wildcats for the upcoming season.
The 22-year-old played 26 games last season for Vanoli Basket Cremona in Italy’s top professional league, averaging 10.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game while shooting 32.1% from three-point range.
Standing 6-foot-11, N’Diaye previously declared for the NBA Draft in 2023 but later withdrew. He also entered the 2025 NBA Draft but went unselected.
